This weekend we began our new series, I Don’t Know What I Believe. A series based on the verses in 2 Timothy 1:9-14. My husband came out the gate so strong. He told us that each week we will have a word that we will focus on. This week’s word is: SALVATION.
We learned that there are some things, when it comes to God, that cannot be arrived at by reason but must simply be received by faith. In other words, you don’t have to completely understand God to trust Him with your life.
In 2 Tim 1:12, Paul doesn’t talk about WHAT he believes, he talks about WHO he believes in. When you know WHO you believe, you can have confidence even in times of uncertainty.
This was such an encouraging message for me. I do not need to have fear about the future, because I know the One who saved me will keep me. And when things are hard, I can trust in the One who is with me and loves me.
And don’t forget, every sermon is also available on the Elevation App for your smart phone.
Have a great Monday!
