It’s Friday and time for another Life Change Inbox! Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 3:2-4 that our lives are living letters written so that God might be glorified. People often write in to Elevation and share the work God is doing in their lives through our church. When I read these stories, I am reminded that we serve a powerful God who still works miracles in the lives of everyday people. These stories inspire me to keep giving, keep serving and continue praying for those who are far from God. I hope they will do the same for you.
If you have a story you would like to share, email us at amencorner@elevationchurch.org
Here’s Marlene’s story, I think you are going to love it….
Today was my first day as a volunteer at Elevation Gaston. I volunteered for Next Level. I was alone at the Next Level tent while the other volunteers were taking care of other duties. A young man and his fiance walked up. She said he wanted to accept Christ. I was supposed to be shadowing but, God had other plans for me this morning! I got to pray with this young man and with his fiance. Then one of my other team members came up and finished the process of leading the young man in the next steps. But God blessed me on my very first morning by allowing me to pray with a new believer. How awesome is our God to bring this young man to a new volunteer. A first for both of us at Elevation. I can’t stop praising our Lord. And I pray that he’ll bring more people in my path who are far from God so I can be an instrument for helping them be raised to life in Christ.
