It’s Friday and time for another Life Change Inbox! Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 3:2-4 that our lives are living letters written so that God might be glorified. People often write in to Elevation and share the work God is doing in their lives through our church. When I read these stories, I am reminded that we serve a powerful God who still works miracles in the lives of everyday people. These stories inspire me to keep giving, keep serving and continue praying for those who are far from God. I hope they will do the same for you.

Dear Elevation,
My name is David and I gave my life to Christ at the University campus at Timeless Christmas. I started attending Elevation about a year ago. Originally I was hesitant to come at first because of my past, I wasn’t sure if I would be accepted. I’ve been running from my past as I’ve struggled with my whole life. I was heavy into drugs, I served jail time, and my marriage ended in divorce. When it seemed like life couldn’t get any worse, I hit rock bottom last year, when my best friend committed suicide.
I had heard about Elevation and been invited several times, so I decided to give it a try. Slowly, I started attending and even joined an eGroup. The love of the people at the campus and from my eGroup was huge and kept me coming. It was at Timeless Christmas that something shifted and I realized what was missing in my life, that something was Jesus Christ! I stood to my feet, crossed over the dividing line, and accepted Christ as my Savior.
Thank you Pastor Steven and Elevation for not giving up on me. For the first time in my life I’m excited about my future and truly feel like the best . . . is yet to come!
God Bless, –David

I loved reading how Jesus rescued you from the low place you were in. Keep in good company with others who are like-minded and i recommend being accountable to at least one other person.
Be strong and Courageous!
