Matthew 1:23
“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).
I'm not sure what your plans are today. Maybe you have to go to work like you do every day. Maybe you are frantically running around town trying to keep up with all the things that need to get done this Christmas season. Maybe you are going to squeeze both in.
As you go throughout your day today, know that Jesus, Immanuel, is with you.
He is with you as you accomplish everyday tasks.
He is with you in your struggle to forgive someone.
He is with you as you work your job with integrity.
He is with you as you raise your children.
He is with you even if you don't feel Him.
He is with you even if you don't want Him to be.
Immanuel, God is with you.

what a great reminder on such a frustrating day in a country we love are called to serve in, as 2 members of our church were thrown into jail just hours ago, b/c they were driving a motorcycle with a loud muffler, and as my husband (pastor) is up there at the disorderly police holding place trying to defend them for hours, I sit at home trying so very hard not to have a bad attitude – it has been a hard day – thanks for such a bold, true and appropriate reminder for today! Much blessings to you!

This is like my most favorite post you have written in a long time. I read it everyday. More than once. I have it up in my house. I have handed it out to friends.
It was so nice to see and speak to you and PF. I hope your family has a wonderful holiday. xoxoxox
