Holidays are so much fun! And there is nothing like teaching your children the real meaning of a holiday in a fun way. I love these Resurrection eggs. We have used them every year in our family for several years and my kids really love them. We hide the eggs, have a special egg hunt and then gather to read the story of Easter.

Give Away… Elevation Worship

Yesterday we released our latest worship album, Nothing is Wasted. This album is special because each song goes along with a chapter in my husband’s book, Greater. Our team did such a great job writing songs that are singable and truly worshipful. The album has 12 songs that were recorded in the studio and then in a live recording, so you have 24 tracks (plus a bonus track)!

Undaunted Giveaway

I just finished reading my friend Christine Caine’s new book, Undaunted, and I can’t wait to share it with you today.
Christine is a world reknown speaker and the founder of the A21 Campaign, an organization that fights against human trafficking. Her book is filled with unbelievable, true stories from her life that will inspire you to step out and do what God is calling you to do.
One of my favorite parts in the book is where Christine talks about choosing to heal. She tells about how she tore her ACL and the doctor warned her that the pain of recovery can often be worse that the pain of the injury. Wow. Isn’t that true in life too? She goes on to say how we must choose to heal. Pain is inevitable but healing from that pain is a choice.
The book is great and I am going to give one away today. Simply leave a comment and I’ll announce the winner in a few days.
Also, one more great thing… Chris has also put together a study guide with a 5 session video teaching to go along with the study. And since there were so many women trying to win the group set for Unglued a few weeks ago, I thought I would give away a small group set today too.

I just finished my friend, Lysa TerKeurst’s latest book, Unglued. The book is great all the way through. I particularly loved the last chapter where she says that Unglued moments are not all that bad if you allow yourself to look inward.
There is an old preacher story that asks, “What do you get when you squeeze an orange?” The answer of course is orange juice. The preacher says what is on the inside always comes out when you get squeezed.
The thing is, when I do have an unglued moment, I can feel guilty, beat myself up, and blame others OR I can look inward and get to the root of what caused me to become unglued and maybe grow a little bit.
Lysa is a personal friend of mine and I love how she is not afraid to be real in her book. She shares her struggles and her own personal unglued moments in a way that is so encouraging to the reader. If you don’t yet have a copy of her book, you need to get one!
I also think this book would be awesome to go through with a group of ladies. So today I want to give one away to someone who leads a small group or (is in a small group). GREATER Day

Today is a very special day. My husband’s new book GREATER comes out today and we are celebrating what we’re calling “GREATER Day”. All day on the Elevation Network you can celebrate with us with guests like Pastor Craig Groeschel, Israel Houghton, and Pastor Mark Driscoll. I hope that you will join us.
Also, from 9am-5pm our volunteers will be packing book bags to give away. We are partnering with churches and outreach organizations across America so that for every book you buy, one student in need will receive a new backpack filled with school supplies.

Giveaway: Promise and Presence

My husband recently put together an amazing project. He teamed up with Israel Houghton to make a scripture encouragement cd. On this project, my husband reads scriptures pertaining to faith, boldness and trust in several different forms- receive, respond, and then my personal favorite, repeat. All the while, Israel Houghton is playing the piano in the background.
I was driving by myself today (a rare occurrence), listening to the project and feeling so encouraged as I let the scriptures sink in.
We gave the project to all of our Elevation volunteers and currently it is not for sale. Today I would love to give away a few copies. Just leave a comment and I will pick a winner. May the odds be ever in your favor (I had to throw that in).
